quick update

just wanted to let you guys know how it's been going with the site! first of all, i decided to nix the comment section idea. the system i was going to use, ayano's neocities comment widget, is really only designed for a single comment section on a website. i may implement it on my main site though! i maaay look into a different comment section in the future, but for now if you ever want to comment on my blog posts, just comment on the update on my neocities profile or sign my guestbook!

in better news, i got the lightbox set up! it's the same one i use for my gallery, though the icons are actually working this time because i remembered to add them. the credits will be at the bottom of each blog page! i've also edited my month's adventures post to use the lightbox, so the images can be seen better! yippee. if you don't care to look back at that though, here's an example of the lightbox in action with my computer setup (plus a sneak peek at a page i finished today):

speaking of which, i'm hoping to start updating my site more often. i keep feeling like i need to make huge updates to my content, but i can just do a little bit at a time. i'm feeling more inspired to work getting rid of this silly expectation i had, and i actually have a page done i can add! i do have a couple other pages i wanna make before i update, but they're just more oc pages.

i'm also feeling more inspired thanks to anytype! i wanted something similar to notion without the ai tools, and that seems to be the ticket. thankfully i was able to import all the hard work i did on notion already. it's a little bit different and i don't like it quite as much as i did notion, but i'm pretty happy all the same! here's what my website workspace looks like:

well, that's all for this update! my next blog post will be a little bit more spaced out haha. i just wanted to share the work i've been doing! ta-ta for now!
