Harper
history
harper was designed for me at the very start of 2025 by toyhou.se user dogcorpse! i commissioned them on furvilla for 500k furcash with the following moodboard and a request for a patchwork-style sweater and a fluffy tail. they certainly delivered! it's always fun asking for moodboard customs, because you never quite know what you're going to get.
i've been in love with this oc ever since. i've drawn them quite a few times since getting them, though i didn't come up with a name right away. admittedly, i didn't think i'd get so attached to the design i got so quickly. i knew i'd like it - dogcorpse has some great designs that i've had the pleasure of drawing before - but i became obsessed with harper almost immediately. i've spent so much time thinking about them that i decided to start making oc pages for my website just so i could think about them some more. here's the first drawing i ever finished of them:
personality
as of writing this, harper doesn't have a concrete personality yet. they're a rather calm individual, at least outwardly. i draw them flashing peace signs a lot. i think they're kind of trendy! that's about all i've got on them so far. check back later to see if i've solidified who they are more!
appearance
harper is a somewhat tall anthro with light, greeny-gray fur. they have two pairs of ears: a small, cat-like pair on top, and long, rabbit-like lop ears that drape over their shoulders. their paw pads and the insides of their ears are red. the tips of their rabbit ears are also red, with black crosses at the very tips. they have grayish purple, medium-length hair that's half tied up in pigtails and has darker purple and black tips. their bangs cover their eyebrows. their eyes are green and they have a small, black nose. their long, fluffy tail is the same colors as their hair.
fashion
harper's typical outfit consists of a few key pieces. the first is a patchwork sweater. half of it is purple, while the other half is checkered blue and green. there's a lop-eared rabbit in the very center with button eyes and a bow on its head, as well as frog, mushroom, and strawberry decals. there are lace additions in various spots on the arms, as well as at the bottom and the ends of the sleeves. they also wear a white skirt and long, black socks with white ribbons on them. in their hair is a black ribbon. on their right wrist, they have a chain with a heart charm and a bracelet made of chunky star beads.
their typical fashion tastes are similar to this. they wear patchwork clothing and carry bags with a similar aesthetic, often made with granny squares. they don't crochet or knit themselves, but they regularly commission artists who do. ribbons and bows are a big part of their fashion as well. when they're not wearing their typical bracelets, they're wearing kandi.
