untitled II

howdy y'all! i haven't been up to a ton since my last post - aside from the big layout update, which i'm guessing everyone following me has seen at this point - but i still wanted to write something out! i do have a few exciting things to share. for example, i'm almost done with my vn project! i'm hoping to get it done before july. all i really have left to do is the art and some final tweaks to the code. i was supposed to draw today, but i flopped a little. i've also started figuring out designs for my yaoi game jam guys, though i'm still not 100% sure if i'm gonna participate in that. i'm worried it'll be too big an undertaking for me.

i also spruced up the tagging system on my blog a bit. luckily it's just a matter of editing a javascript file, so it wasn't too hard.

i went to pride on sunday! it was my first time ever attending. aside from a few protesters, who i was largely able to ignore, it was a blast! i've never seen a drag show before (because i was never super interested tbh) but i loved the energy the performers had. i also got a therian mask! i'm not a therian, but i love the style of those masks. i'm still kinda getting used to the limited visibility as someone who's never owned a therian mask or fursuit head before. i should've shown off the insides of the ears - they're the trans flag - but here's a pic i just snapped of it:

other than that, it was a pretty average week! i napped a lot, which was a little annoying. i've been playing a lot of sun haven with my cousin too which has been really fun. i stim a lot whenever i talk to jun, which is funny because i've never been that excited about farming sim romances before. i don't even know that the romances in sun haven are particularly any better than other farming sims. i just get really excited for some reason!

speaking of games, i played the discounty demo today and it was really fun! i downloaded it a while ago, so i forgot the game wasn't out yet and was disappointed when i couldn't go buy it. i've also really liked playing the squeakross demo. i'm putting off buying the full game until either it's on sale or i run out of demo content, which will probably take a bit since i'm only playing in short bursts. i also opened spirit city back up for the among us collab and quickly got myself a funny little guy.

man i'm watching brutalmoose open yugioh cards in an old video and i wanna build a deck again now. i don't know all the new rules and shit though. oh well.

anyway that's all i got for this update! i'm using this markdown tool to generate the html for this post this time. i was thinking of using this for all my posts, but it does that thing where it turns my apostrophes into the text code or whatever and it makes the post hard for me to read in my editor. oh well! see y'all later!
