howdy y'all! i don't have a ton to say, but i felt like making a blog post. it's pretty late in the day, but i thought it might help me to unwind if i wrote something. i woke up anxious today and while i'm feeling a lot better, i don't think i'm totally normal just yet haha.

i've been having tons of fun in iron valley! i'm already in summer. it's almost aurelia's crush's birthday and i have the perfect gift for them. i'm entertaining the idea of a polycule though... i introduced another townie near the end of spring that i really like. (kind of a funny thing to say about a character i made up! but it all worked out.) i haven't drawn them yet, but i have drawn the two aurelia is closest to. i don't know if i'll put my iron valley sketches in my gallery yet or not, but i do need to update it either way lol.

i also prepared a notion tracker for another game based on the ironsworn system called elegy. you play as a vampire in a big city and there are tons of great potential story hooks! i had so much fun making the tracker that i ended up playing with notion for another hour after i was done. before i found the iron valley notion tracker, i'd never really used notion before, though i had an account made from when a youtuber i follow had a sponsorship with them. i'm having a lot of fun with it! i used the journal template, made a commission and trades list to replace my trello, and put together a simple homepage. here it is!

i'm not sure if i'll play anymore rpgs tonight. i may play a day or two more in iron valley, but i think it's too late now to get started in elegy. i also kinda want to make a set of notion pages for my website plans, so i may do that instead...

school's going well too! my final powerpoint for communication is due on the 6th and my final in customer service is on the 9th and after that i'm done for a few months. i'm definitely ready to be done with school lol. i haven't done much this week so far - i took monday off and i didn't do anything today because i needed to relax. school doesn't take up quite as much of my time as i feel like it does, but i'm always like man once school is out i'll have so much free time!!! but i only spend like an hour or two on school a day, lol. we'll see, though.

i'm feeling more inspired to make games lately! i still wanna make some simple starter projects, but i'm kinda brewing a coffeeshop-themed incremental game in my noggin. that pun was unintentional i promise. we'll see what happens!

i don't even think i've mentioned this on my website yet, but i've also been going to physical therapy lately for back pain and tendonitis. the tendonitis seems to be gone now, but it's helping with my back pain a lot! i go tuesdays and thursdays and i think i still have a few weeks to go. sometimes i dread it right before i go, but i always have a good time haha. yesterday they were playing green day and linkin park and i felt like i was in middle school (in a good way).

this was a surprisingly long post! or maybe it just feels that way because of the size of the window i'm writing this in. i kinda feel like rather than helping me unwind this just made me more excited to do things HAHAHA. oh well. i'm feeling good, at least!
