hi everyone! i have exciting news... i finished my first ever crochet project! it's a cat ear beanie. i used this tutorial to do it. it was pretty simple and very fun. highly recommended if you're interested in crocheting but don't know where to start! here's how mine turned out:
i thought about making it longer so i could fold the bottom up, but i thought this was cute, and admittedly i really wanted to finish my first project LOL. i'll be a little more patient with my next one. it's kinda hard to tell when it's on my head, but the rows definitely get neater as they go down. i'm still learning, after all!
i'm hoping to make a gallery of my completed crochet and sewing projects sometime. i was thinking of using melon's gallery maker for it, but we'll see. i may also make a gallery of my non-pixel art too! i'm thinking of hosting it on poyoweb, which i found out about through status cafe.
in other news, someone i've traded art and done commissions with on furvilla drew me some cute art for my birthday. one of the drawings was a pagedoll of my fursona that i'm considering using somewhere on the site. i'm not sure where yet... maybe my about page? perhaps in the second version of my site layout? we'll see about it.
also, you probably noticed if you've seen my blog before, but i decided to add some borders to the main blog parts. i thought it might make them easier to see lol.
