howdy y'all! it's been a bit since i've updated the blog. you may have noticed, but i have a gallery for my non-pixel artwork now! if you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out here. i decided to host it on poyoweb for... reasons. honestly i didn't super think it through but i signed up for an account so i figured i'd better use it, haha. poyoweb is a cute little webhost though, so it's all good.
i've started thinking more about what i'm gonna do after i get my AA. my original plan was to just head straight into work, but my mom asked me the other day if i was thinking of getting a bachelor's, and it got me considering it. i looked into another college in my state and i'm pretty interested in some of the programs there! i requested more information, but it's starting to look like that's what i wanna do after i graduate community college. the programs i want to do aren't available at the campus in my city though, so i'd have to move there. it's a daunting prospect, but i think i'm ready to take that step.
gosh, it's crazy to think that i'm turning 30 next year and i'm still thinking about college. this definitely isn't where i thought i'd be when i was a kid, but life is weird like that. i'm pretty proud of myself for all the progress i've made, though, even if it's later than i'd hoped i'd make it. hey, i'm doing better than i thought i would in my late teens, so that's something!
aside from school, life's been mostly uneventful. yesterday was pretty busy, though! i had d&d in the morning, then my cousins and i went out shopping since they were in town. we were out way longer than i thought we'd be, partly because one of my cousins lost her bracelet. (luckily she found it!) almost immediately after that, it was movie night, so i hopped on yet another discord call. we watched a dragon adventure, which is really bad and boring and you shouldn't watch it. all the characters did was talk, occasionally while walking or flying, and i don't remember a single thing anyone talked about. (in our defense, we thought it would be funny bad. nope, just bad.)
i was hoping to get more crafty this weekend, but it's not shaping up that way. i'm back at that stage where i'm daunted by the prospect of actually starting something, which sucks. pushing through and getting started really is the hardest part sometimes! i'll get there, though.
